- This is a very sobering weblog that provides an insight into the aftermath of the Chernobyl disaster. Written by Elena, she documents her motorcycle trips north to the so called Chernobyl “dead zone”, 130kms from her home in Kiev. Lots of photos and information about the effects of radiation straight after the disaster and its ongoing effect on people and the environment.
